so i was at walgreens today and i spotted the Disney villains nail art kit by kiss for 9.99
they include orange stick, glue & rhinestones, nail art stickers, and different size, shape and color glitters and flakies and the fish egg beads.

maleficent from sleeping beauty

          evil queen from snow white

ursula from the little mermaid

 cruella deville from 101 dalmatians

I didn't pick up any of the kits today but if i do it would be one of the blue/purple ones.  i really dont like to fool with loose glitter but they sure are pretty, would love to see pics of peoples nail art using these kits!

Nail Polish Haul (pic heavy)

Hello again,
as usual its been awhile, but thats okay nobody reads my blog anyway!!! so I have hauls from a few different shopping trips that i just combined into one post, so here goes...

about 2 weeks ago rite-aid had sally hansen polishes 40% off making them around 3.50- ish a bottle, i had a  bunch of 2.00 off coupons so i got each one of them for 1.50-ish.  i picked up some of the new sugar coats and one from the first set.

in order from left to right~~> Cherry Drop (bright red), Royal Icing (light blue), Candy Corn (orange), Red Velvet (fushia wine), Spare-a-mint? (dark teal)
Royal Icing and Red Velvet had shimmer and glitter so here are some close up bottle shots

I also picked up some sally hansen polish from my local winn-dixie. The whole make-up isle was on clearance.  Most of them were priced for 2.24 with the coupons i had they were only .24 cents, the others were 2.99 w/coupon .99.

from left to right ~~> Nude Shimmer (nude frost), Glass Slipper (clear base w/white flakies) 3k or more! (nude w/gold micro glitter) Save the Date (burgundy wine), Antique Bronze (frosty bronze), Gorgeous Grape (dusty purple creme), Forbidden Fudge (shimmery brown)

i renewed my sallys club card, and when you do that you get a 5 dollar coupon so i used that to purchase a polish from the new china glaze collection on the horizon. so i think i might have paid a dollar.

flock together

i also made a few full price purchases, my b-day was at the end of june so i treated myself to something i usually don't get to...an indie.  Lush Lacquer has to be my favorite indie brand.

this looks amazing over white, i did have some trouble fishing it out of the bottle so i put a few drops of thinner into and that took care of it!

i also was able to  hunt down a bottle of china glaze sun of a peach, which is a bright pastel peach.  my local sallys never did get this collection (sunsational). i ordered the cremes from cherry culture but this one was out and never restocked.

and last but not lest i finally broke down and ordered a bottle of seche restore nail polish thinner because it is the only thing that thins seche vite and im sure all of you know that you only can get about half way through the bottle before it starts getting thick and making your polish shrink. i have about 12 half used bottles of seche vite so i figured it would be cheaper to fix them and use em than to keep buying new bottles.

well guess thats it for now, till next time!!!

bundle monster magnetic earring set

first let me say that i was surprised by how well these stayed on, the magnets were very strong but after 2-3 hours they kinda hurt. i did wear mine high up the ear lobe. the variety of colors is awesome i can match anything. but i would only recommend them for short term wear. i gave my mom a set and she loved how bright and shiny they were but also felt that after a few hours they hurt. i think its because the magnet is so strong it presses into your skin.  my husband wore one with no complaints so i guess it depends on how sensitive you are. perfect size for me though,i would recommend these for special occasions and short term wear. This item was sent to me by Bundle Monster in exchange for my honest review.

terrible horrible no good very bad blogger

hello out there,
i just wanted to say i have been a very bad blogger.  i haven't been updating as often as i should, but i have been busy lots of doc appointments and i had a b-day and my mom came for a visit. things just started to kinda mellow out but they will be picking  back up soon more doc appointments anyway i wanted to share my b-day mani with you guys until i  have time to do a review of some nail mail i just got. also i have a review of a bundle monster product that i also need to post.

i also hit up the old navy flip flop sale today. i expected the line to be long but with the rainy weather we had it wasn't that bad!  i made my husband come with me so i wouldn't have to get back in line so many times.  limit 5 per transaction and they make you get back at the end of the line with your next 5 so i did it twice and he did it once.

till next time

Sally Hansen Sugar Coat

Today I went on the hunt for the new Sally Hansen sugar coat texture polishes not really expecting to find them ( i live in south Louisiana and it takes forever to get collections down here).  Imagine my surprise when i walked down the isle at my local wallygreens and found them just newly displayed.  They are priced at 6.99, i had a 1 $ off coupon (wish i had got my hands on a few of those 4 $ off ones)  making it 5.99

2 or 3 coats are needed to make it opaque and I found once it dried that it was the grittiest of all the texture polishes i have tried so far.  Dry time was super fast, more so than other texture polishes in my opinion.
It is similar to China Glaze texture because they both don't have glitter or shimmer in their formula.

I almost didn't buy this one because i just bought OPI solitaire but the 2 are very different. solitaire has small silver glitter and seems to have a frosty look, sugar fix SH is just bright white. no dupes here.

till next time.

monkey do mani blue tropical

hello there people,
i have decided to start what i call monkey do mani. i will be doing manis inspired by pins on pintrest. i always see tons of things on there that i want to try so i thought this would be a cool way to do that. monkey see money do. once every week or so i will post a pic from pinterest (i will try to give credit to the person who created the mani if i can) and then i will post my version of it underneath. now be warned i am horrible at free hand nail art, how ever i can stamp like nobodies business!

so for my first monkey do mani i have blue tropical by azusa from nailartgallery.nailsmag.com

and now for mine

1 coat of CG white on white & 1 coat of CG dandy lyin around.  i used BM plate 301 &  blue me away by sally hansen.  the palm tree is from one of the salon express plates as seen on tv i used sally hansen black heart.  i felt like adding a little sparkle so i used a dotting tool to apply essie set in stones and i topped it all off with seche vite.
till next time

well i guess i am awful at keeping to my new years resolution because that was the last post i made.  However i have decided to give it another shot.  I have been getting to spend alot of time with my mom lately  she has been keeping me busy.
But I am so excited to talk about AVON's new cosmic nail polish coming out in campaign 12. brace your self ladies (and gentlemen) for holos.  Yes thats right holographic nail polish for the intro price of 3.49 each regular price will be 6.00. Now I only ordered 4 of the colors so far because i heard some of them are dupes for the zoya collection that came out around Christmas and i ordered almost all of those. So i will be waiting to see swatches of the other colors

the names of the colors i picked are saturn, celestial, radiant, and starlight.  i cant wait to try them and who knows i might end up ordering more.  Now I was told that different AVON reps sell different campaigns at different times, in my area they are still on camp 9, but i follow a lady (traci)on facebook who is on camp 12 now and i ordered from her and they will be shipped to me directly. If you would like to place an order go here http://tracilyn.avonrepresentative.com/ then click on shop my store.  she has links to her blog with pics of some of the colors if you want to check that out
